I have started to update the website in advance of the 2010 season, and am
hoping to redesign it in a way to make it easier to update. I have added a
couple of new photos to the photo section, if you have any photos please send
them to me so I can add them to the site. Also I've added a new Message
Board.
Update
The 2010 Dales Council cricket season is now only weeks away. The 2010
season will see a number of changes to both its league structure and rules.

The season kicks off on the 17th April and Whitehall will compete in C Division
East next season, which will welcome and visiti new clubs Saville Stars B and
Tong Manor, along with games against former opponents Baildon C, Cookridge C,
Mount B, New Farnley B, Pudsey Congs B, and Pudsey St Lawrence B. We will
also have to play 6 sides from the C Division West which will be include teams
Baildon B, Cookridge B, Crompark B, Leeds Sikh B, Meanwood, Old Modernians,
Undercliffe and Wibsey Park Chapel. Whitehall will also compete in the
Cawthorne cup which is open to 1st XIs in the C Division and all 2nd and 3rd XIs.
Whitehall face Mount as Station Road on Sunday 9th May.

2 big rule changes will come in force this year. The first being the points scoring
system which will now see a win earn 10 points, a tie 5, and a defeat 0. There
will be then bonus points - 1 pt for scoring 75 runs then 1 point for each 25
with a maximum of 5 (at 175 runs), and every 2 wickets will earn a point, mean
20 points will be available each week. The other major rule changes see a limit of
12 overs per bowler in each innings, meaning each side will have to use a
minimum 4 bowlers each game.
